Our commitment to transparency
The Old Laitkorian Association (OLA) is committed to the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and ethical governance. As a registered society, we believe that openness in our operations strengthens trust and ensures responsible stewardship of the Association.
Legal & regulatory compliance
OLA is a legally registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, and complies with all statutory requirements applicable to registered societies. All filings, disclosures, and records are maintained as prescribed by law.
Governance disclosures
The Association maintains full transparency in its governance structure. Details of the Constitution, Executive Council, committees, election processes, and terms of office are disclosed to members and made available through official channels.
Financial transparency
All financial transactions of OLA are conducted solely in furtherance of its objectives. Proper books of accounts are maintained, audited annually by a qualified auditor, and presented to the General Body for approval.
Meetings & records
Records of Annual General Meetings, Special General Body Meetings, and Executive Council meetings are maintained with due diligence. Key resolutions and decisions are documented and preserved in accordance with statutory requirements.
Ethical conduct & conflict of interest
All office bearers and committee members are expected to act in the best interests of the Association. Any actual or potential conflict of interest must be disclosed, and individuals concerned shall abstain from related decision-making.
Member access to information
Members of OLA have the right to seek information relating to the functioning of the Association. Requests may be made through designated official channels and will be addressed in a timely and responsible manner.
Data privacy & responsible use
OLA respects the privacy of its members. Personal data is collected and used only for Association-related purposes and is not shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law.
Public disclosures
In the interest of openness, key documents and disclosures are made publicly available on the Association’s website. Additional information may be shared with members as required.
