Volunteer with OLA
Turn commitment into action by volunteering with OLA driving alumni welfare, mentorship, and community projects through collective effort.
Why volunteer
OLA thrives on participation. Volunteering allows Old Laitkorians to actively shape initiatives – whether supporting students, strengthening alumni services, or contributing to community-facing projects.
Ways to contribute
Members may volunteer in multiple capacities based on interest and availability:
- Project-Based Volunteering - Support specific initiatives, events, or short-term assignments.
- Committees & Working Groups – Serve on focused committees that plan, govern, and execute OLA programs.
- Mentorship & Student Support – Guide students through academic, career, and life-transition phases.
- Professional & Advisory Support – Offer expertise in areas such as governance, finance, law, technology, communication, or outreach.
Flexible engagement
Volunteering with OLA is designed to be practical and respectful of personal commitments. Members can contribute on a short-term, recurring, or advisory basis.
Collective responsibility
Every contribution small or sustained adds to OLA’s ability to function transparently, deliver outcomes, and remain relevant to its members and wider community.
